My Story

Welcome. I assume you’ve come to the site because like me a FIRE has awakened within and you’re now on a journey to because financially free. I developed this site to chronicle my journey to financial freedom and to share relevant information about the things I’ve learned along the way.

I slaved away much of my time on this earth working for the other guy. I’ve missed tons of time with my wife and kids as well friends and family.

It wasn’t all bad though because I loved my career in IT. It allowed me to travel across the world and make a good income. And fortunately, I made the most of both. In 2021, I made the decision to leave the job I’ve worked for over half my life and retire at 49.

I’m no longer nervous about pulling the trigger because I feel I’ve invested wisely. Plus I have a few things in the works that’ll provide additional income once I leave my corporate 9 to 5. I may have stayed on the hamster wheel longer than I should have but time flies when you’re having fun.

Now I have the bug to achieve financial independence and generational wealth. Will I be SQUASHED? Only time will tell but I doubt it!

Hopefully, this site acts as a platform for learning and brings value not only for myself but for others too.
